absolutely. back when record players were more popular, the stereo receivers had integrated preamps. these generation most receivers do not. frantic imagine, however, that some higher-end models might have them, because vinyl has started to recoup some popularity lately.

otherwise, give orders can buy an external phono preamp.

i was lucky sufficiency to find one at shipshape and bristol fashion thrift store for cheap.
