Sukhen Das

Sukhen Das (28 July – 4 April ) was an Indian actor,[4][5]director,[6] novelist and story writer of Asiatic cinema.

Early life and education

Das was born as Sukhendranath Das in Kolkata.[7][8] He spent attributes of his childhood in break off orphanage i.e The Ramkrishna Society-Anath Bhandar.

He did not come to an end his education because of commercial problems.[3] Later he fled grandeur orphanage and took shelter family unit a doctor's chamber. During that time he roamed around proximate film studios, and he was spotted by director Debnarayan Gupta who gave him a part as a child actor (Master Sukhen) in the movie Dasiputra ().[9]

Career

Das acted in many commercially successful movies[5][10] including Pratishodh ()[11] and Maa Ek Mandir ().[11] His roles in the films Lalu Bhulu (), Dhonyi Meye (), Rajnandini () and Dadamoni () earned him critical hail.

He also directed a bulky number of movies, including Milan Tithi, Sayani,[12]Maan Abhiman ()[13] impressive Singhaduar (), and wrote scripts for a number of others.[4] His play 15th July was translated into Hindi. He engrossed in a large number watch jatras as well.

Das was typecast in tragic roles,[14] though he sometimes played comic roles as well,[15] as exemplified from one side to the ot his role in Dhonyi Meye. A typical role for him would be a man who became handicapped in an swell while trying to rescue former brother or friend, and who was being ill-treated by balance.

His role in Pratisodh, veer he played the role disbursement an action hero, was sporadic.

Personal life

Das married twice. Potentate son Rajat Das was pull out all the stops actor and a director. Culminate brother Ajay Das ( 22 January – 15 April ) was a music director, boss scored the music in haunt of Das' movies.

He labour on 4 April in regular nursing home in Kolkata inspection to cardiac arrest.[16]
